It must be enabled to make things work in various projects

JavaScript poses no threat to any client computer and there is no legitimate reason for it to be disabled. If you are using INTERNET EXPLORER, Select Internet Options from the Tools Menu. Click on the security tab and then click on the Custom Level button. Scroll down to the Scripting section and be sure that Active Scripting is selected. Once you have selected Active Scripting, press the Refresh button to reload this page. If you are using NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR, Select Preferences from the Edit Menu. Click on the advanced option in the left frame of the Dialog Window. In the Right Frame of the Dialog Window, be sure Enable JavaScript For Navigator has a check preceding it.
